Emily’s own single vineyard wine, from fruit grown on granitic soil in the south of the Heathcote GI by Jasper Hill’s vineyard manager, Andrew Conforti. Previous vintage now serving in Michelin 3 Star ‘Per Se’ restaurant, Manhattan. Very, very good, but different to the Cambrian soil Jasper Hill flavours; more plums and dark fruit. Delicious now; also has great cellaring potential. 14.5% alc/vol

Medium deep crimson. Intense black cherry, aniseed, floral aromas with underlying savoury notes. Well concentrated sweet juicy , black cherry, flavours with pippy tannins and savoury notes. Finishes juicy firm with some minerally notes. Now – 2022 93 points

Medium deep crimson. Intense fragrant dark cherry walnutty aromas with herb garden mint notes. Inky textured palate with dark cherry mulberry fruits, walnutty tobacco leaf notes and fine plentiful chalky tannins. Finishes firm and minerally long. Quite firm at the finish with pronounced acidity. 14.5% Alc 91 points
