Occam’s Razor Shiraz – 2006



Time of release

This is Emily’s own wine. Dark brooding red, with briary cherry flavours and a touch of liquorice. Good levels of grape and oak derived tannins and perfect acidity to impart longevity. It’s Granite based terroir makes a great comparison for the two Cambrian based “paddock” shiraz wines. 15.5% alc/vol

Medium deep colour. Fragrant red cherry, mulberry aromas. Medium bodied palate with juicy red cherry, red currant flavours, fine chalky touch al dente tannins and underlying savoury complexity. Finishes al dente firm with plenty of flavour length. Very nice wine. Now – 2025 – 94 points

Medium deep crimson. Intense black cherry, mulberry, slight bitumen, geosmine aromas with aniseed notes. Hint barnyard. Inky textured wine with black cherry, paneforte chocolatey flavours, fine gritty textures and attractive mineral length. Complex and delicious to drink. 15.5% Alc 94 points.
