Beautiful deep crimson colour with trademark flavours of concentrated red fruits and mixed spices with a voluptuous mouth-coating texture. High natural acidity balances abundant tannins. A classic, with perfect balance that can be drunk from now over the next two decades, with complete confidence. 14.0% alc/vol

Medium deep purple crimson. Intense dark cherry, mocha aromas with a touch of herb, star anise and vanilla. Lovely concentrated wine with dark cherry, dull plum, sage flavours, bitter chocolatey fine tannins and plenty of ginger oak. Still very youthful with superb mid-palate richness and volume. Will need time to settle in. 2016-2028. 94 points

Medium deep colour. Roasted coffee, dark berry, sous bois aromas with, saline liquorice notes. Rich and voluminous with plentiful dark chocolate, espresso, chinotto flavours, leafy nuances, fresh chocolatey slightly grippy tannins and mocha oak complexity. Finishes chocolatey and minerally long. Could benefit from further aging. 14% Alc 92 points Now-2038
