Georgia’s Paddock Shiraz – 1995

Time of release

Again, the descriptors of ripe red berries and complex spices are applicable. More tannic than the last few vintages but not overtly so. Viscous crimson in the glass. I rate this vintage as one of the best, with finer qualities than the excellent 1983 drought wine. 14.5% alcohol.

Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW – August 2007

Medium deep colour. Intense dark/ plum/ choco-berry aromas with some graphite/ cedar notes. Sweet concentrated wine with dark plum/ chocolaty flavours, dense al dente tannins, underlying malt notes. Finishes chocolaty and long with some black peppy notes. 2010-2025. 95 points.
