Georgia's Paddock
Shiraz (1994)
Tasting Notes
Time of release
Typical spicy and sweet red berried bouquet; great colour density of crimson red to rim. Mouthfilling palate with matching levels of acidity, extract and viscosity. Noble tannins lend great cellar potential (say 10 years or more) and like all its predecessors, the wine is quite drinkable now. Alcohol 14%

Medium deep colour. Very aromatic raspberry/ blueberry aromas. Palate is fresh and lively with raspberry/ blueberry/ liquorice flavours, fine grainy tannins and fresh minerally acidity. A fruit driven wine which finishes dry and chalky firm but plenty of fruit volume. Now-2018. 93 points.

Medium deep colour. Very complex and beautiful wine with fresh sous bois, mahogany, waxy leather aromas with underling dried roses and herbs. Lovely inky wine with developed fully mature earthy sweet fruit, dried roses, herb garden flavours, slinky looseknit tannins, mid palate viscosity and underlying waxy, shellac/ polish notes. Finishes grainy firm with lovely length. Multidimensional and tactile. A wonderfully evocative wine. Will probably hold but it will never get better. Drink soon. 14% Alc 97 points Now – 2025
