Time of release
Deep red-blue colour, intense at rim, for which this wine is recognised. Powerful, developed fruity aroma with cinnamon overtones to some. Elegant fruit flavour with soft tannins, maybe slightly firmer than the ’84. High natural acidity. Long finish. Highly drinkable now, but better next year and beyond.

Medium deep crimson. Intense red cherry/ graphite aromas with some cedar/ camomile notes. Well balanced wine with lovely fruit volume and freshness. Sweet cherry/ plum/ cedar flavours and ripe loose knit/ lacy tannins. Finishes long and sweet but chalky dry. Mild growing vintage. Now-2014. 93 points.

Medium deep colour. Fully mature earthy, mushroom, paneforte, Tobacco aromas with some remnants of red berry, herb notes. Really complex dark chocolate black truffle flavours and fine chalky, graphite tannins. Muscular firm at the finish but fresh and minerally. Really good. Now - 94 points

Medium deep colour. Fresh earthy spicy aromas with waxy leather notes. Well concentrated earthy, spicy, dark chocolate flavours, fine plentiful chocolaty/graphite tannins and integrated fresh acid line. Finishes cedary firm and long. A good bottle. Drink now. 12% Alc 92 points Now
