Medium crimson. Fresh but over developed leather. Tobacco leaf aromas. Still holding up with supple red fruits, light tobacco leaf flavours and fine lacy tannins. More curio than a great wine, but the beginning of an important modern Australian wine tradition. 11% Alc 87 points Now-past.
