Georgia’s Paddock Riesling – 1991

Time of release

Even better than the ’90. Beautiful depth to the colour and palate. Very pungent citrus/lime/floral characters and crisp, “bone” dryness as usual. Drink young and fresh or cellar for a few years. A good one!

Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW – August 2007

Golden colour. Menthol/ lime/ apricot aromas with touch of camomile. Sweet apricot/ lime/ honey flavours, plenty of richness and concentration. Touch leafy. Finishes minerally and long. 85 points.

Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW – 17th August 2012

Medium deep colour. Fresh orange, mandarin, grapefruit, brassy aromas and flavours, with fine lacy textures, good mid palate richness, and long minerally acidity. Developed and chalky, but still bouyant. Past its best but still drinking. Now – past. 85 points

Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW – 8th August 2017

Medium deep brassy. Oxidised crème brulée, baked apple with touch of cork dust. Fully mature wine with tobacco, crème brulée flavours, fine bitter textures and marked acidity.
Finishes long and tangy. Holding but past its prime. 11.5% Alc 84 points Now
