A fickle variety, not produced every year. This is one of our best; deep brick-red coloured, lifted floral aromas (rose?) countered by a generous savoury palate and powerful tannic finish, a trademark of the Nebbiolo grape. Drink now or cellar long term. 14.5% alc/vol

Medium deep colour. Leafy sous bois red cherry chocolate aromas. Generous and supple with deep set red cherry chocolate, dried roses flavours, fine looseknit, slight y aggressive/ sappy/ bitter tannins, attractive mid palate generosity/ volume and mineral length. Drinking fine but elemental and over extracted. 14.5% Alc 89 points – Now – 2026
