Deliciously soft, fruity and not too tannic, with the Italianate savouriness and brick colour associated with the variety. Floral hints on the nose, beautiful complexity on the palate and zingy acidity with medium body. 13.5% alc/vol

Medium deep colour Fresh strawberries, cherry aromas with herb garden notes. A hint of wet bitumen/ geosmine. Medium concentrated wine but quite silky with plenty of strawberries, cherries and herbs, fine looseknit chalky tannins and fresh long acidity. Almost Pinot Noir in character. A touch bitter at the finish. 13.5% Alc 90 points Now – 2025
