Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW - 8th August 2017
Medium deep colour. Fresh redcurrant slight chloride aromas with leafy, caramel, liquorice notes. Generous wine with attractive red currant, red plum fruits, some leafy herb notes, fine plentiful sappy tannins, underlying savoury complexity and fresh long pronounced acidity. Finishes brambly – like a fur ball. 13.5% Alc 88 points – Now – 2025
