Georgia’s Paddock Nebbiolo – 2003

Winetype:

Origin:

Time of release

The colour is not as intense as out Shiraz, but in the mouth is has all the hallmarks of the variety ie; savoury characters and a supple, powerful, tannic finish. Aficionados of the cariety have loved the bright floral nose of previous releases, which this one also has. We expect it to cellar well. Only 850 bottles produced. 14.5 percent alcohol/volume

Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW – August 2007

Medium colour. Rose/ raspberries/ with menthol notes. Sweet rose/ raspberry flavours/ leafy dry tannins – touch sappy. Finishes long and sweet. Quite sappy/ gravelly at finish. 2008-2016.

Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW – 8th August 2017

Medium colour. Red cherry, cola, flinty aromas with some tobacco leaf notes. Moderately concentrated wine with red cherry, cola, barnyard notes, fine chocolaty, slightly sappy/ grippy textures and pronounced acidity. Some salty mineral notes. Showing some bottle age but still quite clunky and underpowered. 14.5% Alc 86 points Now
