Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW - 8th August 2017
Medium colour. Developed red currant, tobacco earthy aromas with walnutty notes. Bitter sweet wine with sinewy / grippy/ sappy textures, some bright red fruit notes and marked acidity. Looking like an old red wine now, but when released this would have been something more interesting. 14.5% Alc 83 points Now
