A classic; bright appearance with perfumed, minerally, spiciness and great natural acidity, balanced with fine supple tannins and the normal creaminess of oak in the background. Exceptional length and complexity. Will cellar for a long time if you can keep your hands off. 13.0% alc/vol
Tasting notes by Andrew Caillard, MW - 8th August 2017
Medium deep crimson. Fresh redcurrant, peppercorn, slight mint aromas. Well concentrated wine with redcurrant red cherry, slight peppery flavours, fine looseknit slinky textures and fresh new mocha oak notes. Finishes al-dente firm with plenty of length.
Cooler spectrum of fruit aromatics with attractive richness and volume. 13% Alc 92 points 2020-2035
