Shiraz / Cabernet Franc (2007)
Time of release
Intensity and weight with elegance. Typical ripe berries and cream, extremely complex with perfume, spice and a hint of tar. A wonderful tannic structure with a finish that lasts forever. A classic, superb Emilys, with its touch of Cabernet Franc. 15 percent alcohol/volume.

Medium deep crimson purple. Fragrant musky dark cherry, praline, spice aromas with some liquorice, mint notes. Palate is quite angular with pronounced leafy tannins, marked acidity and spicy oak. Finishes firm and tight. Still very elemental. Needs more time to unwind. Massive tannin structure. 2016 - 2028 87 points

Medium deep crimson. Fresh red cherry, slight choco-mint aromas with lovely cinnamon, mocha oak. Generous and slinky wine with inky red currant chocolate mint flavours, fine looseknit supple tannins and fresh mocha spicy oak. Finishes chocolaty firm with bitter chinotto notes. Vigourous with plenty of density and persistency. Classic Emily’s Paddock. 15% Alc 95 points Now - 2035
