From the 92 vintage, an elegance was introduced to Emilys Paddock as the vineyard (and the winemaker) matured. This one is from the same mould; typical vivid colour; sweetly perfumed; full bodied; supple tannins; perfect structure and balance. 14.5% alcohol

Medium deep colour. Classical and substantial wine with intense graphite, lead pencil, dark berry with roasted chestnut, minty, iodine nuances. Palate is fresh and bouyant with voluminous sweet fruit flavours and chocolaty dry tannins. Muscular in structure with some leafy nuances but plenty of paneforte, sage fruit. Tannin plume and mineral acidity at the finish. Really big wine with tremendous power and energy. Now - 2020 95 points
